The followings are general guidance helping you getting married in quick and easy ways: Step 1 The first step to getting married is to contact me to see if I am available for your day. We will schedule for the first meeting. In this first meeting, you and your partner will bring all legal documents required by AG in order for me to sight as well as I will help you complete the Notice of Intended Marriage. |
After completing filing out the Notice of Intended Marriage, we will discuss about the designing and creating of your ceremony, how you want to personalise your ceremony accordingly to your wishes, how you want to say your vows to each other in the ceremony, etc.
A booking fee is required to secure my availability for your day.
Step 2
I will script the first draft of your marriage ceremony based on details we have discussed; then I will email you for approval. You may contact me back with any questions, additions, and amendments which you may have.
Step 3
In a week or two leading up to the wedding, we will arrange for a meeting in order for you to sign the Statutory Declaration of No Legal Impediment stating there is no legal reason why you shouldn’t marry. You will also have chance to sight a final draft of your Certificate of Marriage, so you can amend any incorrect details before printing.
In this final meeting, if you would like, we may practice for a wedding rehearsal.
A final invoice is also issued for the balance of any remainder fees.
Step 4
On your wedding day, you need two witnesses, who must be over the age of 18.
On your wedding day, I will arrive at the venue approximately 30 minutes prior to wedding begins to ensure everything is in order. The venue could be anywhere in Australia, whether that is in my office, in your beautiful backyard garden, or in a Registry Office Wedding Melbourne/Sydney/Brisbane, etc.
Step 5
All your completed marriage documentation will be forwarded to the Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages of the state, where your marriage has been conducted. Now your marriage registration is completed with Australian government.
